So you’re interested in getting your site or blog in No. 1 position for your keyword, eh? Who wouldn’t be? Getting that spot means lots of traffic (depending on the search volume) and more money in your pocket, right? From that free organic traffic, you can not only expose your site to make sales but also build your list, refer traffic to other sites for profits, make money from AdSense, or sell your ad space, etc. The list of profiting from that traffic is endless.
But how? What are the best and quickest ways possible to make that happen? That is the question. Well, the basic answer I can give to you is this. You need to do some “SEO” or “Search Engine Optimization” on and off your site.
Onsite Optimization (10%)
- You need to insert your keyword in all your meta tags – Title, Description, Keywords.
- Then insert your keyword in the headline, body (1st, 2nd and last paragraphs).
- Structure your blog or site in a way that’s SEO friendly. More details are in my free report.
Offsite Optimization (90%)
- This is in short creating backlinks. If your competitor has 1000 links pointing back to his/her page, you need to have more than 1000 links pointing back to your page. Simple as that. Sometimes, the domain age and how many edu or gov links they have may be counted as important ranking factors but generally, how many backlinks they have is the most important ranking factor.
