In an update of how Google assigns ranking, many web sites were assigned a reduced rate based on Googles Page Rank system. Google assigns an authority scale of 0 – 10 as a form of reputation for a web page. PR can be found by the use of the Google toolbar.

Remember that Google ranks individual pages not sites. This is why I always recommend a clean design, which gives every page the same chance. Some database driven web sites don’t allow for this and even some marketing people don’t agree. When you are looking to win in competitive markets you need to apply this.

This change occurred after Google has voiced its dislike of the purchase of paid links for the reason of influencing natural search results. Business models have been based on the buying and selling of links for the purpose of gaining rank. Many opinions had been made that these two events are connected and they effect the ranking of web sites. This is common opinion in the internet marketing area and provides a distorted view of the world. Only an assessment of a specific site can provide us real, measurable information.

One site that lost a large measure of its PR (Page Rank) from a rating of 10 to 6 is statcounter.com In a keyword count statcounter has over 3129 to keyword ranking listings. One of the No 1 ranked keywords, is “web stats”.

Based on the Gtrends tool from the keyword research site, Wordtracker.com, this word receives 18750 estimated searches per month in Google. Statcounter has maintained this top ranking both before and after the update.

This brings us the conclusion that the reduction of page rank change was more of just a reshuffle of authority, rather than a change of how Google ranks web sites. Other sites that sell paid links have had similar results. It’s important to have measurable, real information based on facts rather that the guidance of a vastly out of date tool, like page rank. I make it my goal to educate on numbers rather than opinion of the masses.

Online their are many sites who state they are on SEO, however they is such opinion floating around that you never know where the truth comes- beware the opinion it will drive you crazy. Numbers don’t lie, if its your bank account or in your traffic and sales conversion.
anniversary party favors

We’ve all heard of economic enslavement and in a way it really is a form of slavery, as the individuals work and work, never to get ahead, save, or enjoy the quality of life they believed they are entitled for the fruits of their labors. Some involved in such a game or in a nation where this is taking place, ask themselves; what is the difference between economic enslavement and straight out slavery? Some say none. But being enslaved to money is not the only thing that happens.

Becoming enslaved to authority can be worse, as you build barriers to thought in your mind, believing that the authorities know it all, and you are not wise enough to even answer the question. If you find this happening to you in college, then you know what I am talking about and you need to free your mind to get to the next level. You can start by Questioning Authority at every turn, and if your questions are in turn turned down, then you need to jump ship or realize the limitations of the information that you are receiving.

If you’d like to explore this thought in greater detail, I’d sure like to recommend a book to you; “Mindset” by John Naisbutt, where you will find an interesting chapter on this topic; Chapter # 4. “Authority Slavery is one of the biggest enemies of truth,” is one of the topics that John Naisbutt includes, and gives examples of such in Einstein’s college days.

You must always realize that just because someone is wearing a shirt and tie, have a higher rank, has more letters next to their name, it really has not much to do with their intelligence, abilities, or their knowledge, indeed this has been my experience and so I thought you should know too. Please consider all this.
About the Author:

The women of Pakistan have a varied profile that stretches across topography and classes. The urban and rural divide has been widening now; more so with the irregular socioeconomic developments in the country. Moreover, the religion, tribal, feudal, and socio-capitalistic divides further hamper the growth of women in Pakistan.

Arguably, a Pakistani woman enjoys much more freedom and better health and education facilities. Fortunately, Paki women also enjoy better status than their Middle Eastern and Islamic counterparts. The government has been trying to uplift the status of women in Pakistan, but it’s an uphill task and requires a paradigm shift in the way society (man-made rules) perceives women. Still considered as inferior or subordinated to the male dominated society, Paki women have to do much to find their own place under the sun. Almost 90% of the households in Pakistan have a male member as the head, while most household with women heads belong to the lower strata of the Paki society.

But Pakistani woman also has to follow certain practices as demands of a religious and male run society. Some of these practices are elaborated below.

1.	Purdah – It’s a norm that is followed by a majority of communities in the country and is practiced in many different ways depending on the region, class, area of residence (urban or rural scenario) and family values.

2.	Child Marriage – Even though it’s illegal for girls below 16 years of age to be married (As per the Child Marriages Restraint Act), there are frequent instances of child marriages, especially in the rural areas. The tribal clans of the Punjab province practice a child marriage ritual called ‘Vani,’ where young girls are married forcibly in order to settle feuds between warring clans. Interestingly, if the girl’s clan agrees to pay up money or ‘Deet’, Vani is avoided.

3.	Honor Killings – Almost 99% of the victims of honor killings in Pakistan are women. The punishments given to those who kill women under the pretext of honor killings are often punished leniently and sometimes, go unpunished even. Honor killing is a term described for killing of a person who is suspected of having an illegitimate relationship (or ‘karo kari’ in Baluchistan/Sind provinces). Typically, honor killings have been reported against those women who have married against their family’s wishes, or want a divorce, or have been raped.

Cultural Norms for Pakistani Women

Women in Pakistan wear different dresses again depending on the classes, regions, and event. The common dress is the Shalwar Kameez. The Gharara or a loose divided skirt is often worn with a blouse and was very common until some years ago, but now rich and embellished variations of it are worn at special occasions such as marriages. Sari is another dress donned by the women in urban milieu. It is worn on regular as well as on special events.

While it is true that women in Pakistan don’t enjoy the same lifestyle, freedom, and status as that enjoyed by women in the West, it’s also true that Paki women are increasingly breaking barriers and making a name for themselves rather convincingly!
About the Author:

I think that most people will agree with the fact that no matter how dedicated you are to doing effective search engine optimization and link building for a website. You are ultimately going to have to wait a good period of time before your website will begin to show decent rankings for particular keywords in your niche if you have not made use of any black hat or unethical SEO techniques.Having said this I would like to talk about the different SEO techniques that can help a person effectively optimize their website which will hopefully give you the ranking you deserve.

SEO Link Building Techniques:

1. Submission To Directories:

This is probably the most effective and known method of achieving a high quantity of backlinks to your website.By submitting your website to search engine friendly directories and related categories can increase the ranking of their website over time.It is very important to alternate up to 3 different titles and descriptions when upon submission of your website to directories for seo reasons. It may take a long time for submissions to be accepted but this method of gaining backlinks is essential.

2. Forum and Blog Posting:

These two ways of building up backlinks can also be effective but most people just end up spamming other blogs and forums for the main aim of trying to obtain immediate traffic. With this being said, don’t bother submitting money making based websites in your posts as the chances are high that you will get banned. However if you have a blog that advertises a link to a product or service then it will most likely be okay, and in that case can largely help the ranking of your website after time provided the post is on a forum related to your
niche.

3. Article Directory Submissions:

Going about writing quality articles with niche related content and submitting them to top ranked article directories, it can help you receive good amounts of web traffic and also help build quality backlinks.Be sure to include a backlink to your website in the resource box using anchor text for a good keyword in your niche. You may even discover that if related websites in your niche find your article, they will probably put a link to it on their website which will give you more exposure and traffic.

4. Reciprocal Link Exchanges:

Exchanging links with websites in your niche is also an essential technique which will once again get you very high quality backlinks, which can sometimes be more effective than doing a couple of hundred submissions to directories .Take a look around at the many SEO forums which have link exchange rooms and post a message about the type of website you wish to exchange links with. There is always someone willing to exchange links.

5. Pay Per Click Advertising:

For those of you who have commercial websites or any websites for that matter, using pay per click programs like adwords can provide immediate targeted traffic to your website. You just need to work out a good budget and make sure you don’t waste too much money as one can get addicted to this easy traffic method.

6. Social bookmark submissions:

By submitting good quality stories or articles to popular social bookmark websites like digg and technorati, you can get quality backlinks for your website as well as a good burst of web traffic.Try to make your stories worth reading with good titles and not just spam.

I hope these techniques have helped you with your understanding of link building. If you would like to get access to top rated search engine optimization link building tools please check out the website below.
mint tin favors

I have no doubt that the majority of people who have taken the time to read this article are aware of the difficulties and complexities of trying to go about effective search engine optimization for their websites. Due to the ever increasing competition of websites in the popular niches it has now become more important than ever to make sure you are 5 steps ahead of your competitors to reap the rankings you believe your websites deserve. Lets take a look below at some helpful link building tips to help you with your website optimization

Link Building and Advertising Techniques:

1. Directory submissions: This is probably the most effective and known method of achieving a high quantity of backlinks to your website.

Different companies have different criteria for loan application but there are some requirements, which remain the same even across the geographical boundaries. Credit Score is one such criterion and lenders use the score to determine whether they should give the loan to a person or not. Lenders will also carefully assess a borrower’s merit by checking the track record for debt repayment. Because of the assessments that are required to be made by a lender before accepting a loan application, it is often difficult to quote a particular interest rate on the spot. The rates provided by lenders when you call them up are the standard or basic rates and the structure might change when you actually apply for the loan.

Lenders will primarily look at the following criteria while making your risk assessment:

•	Status of Employment

•	Your current income

•	Your overall credit history

•	Your previous and current repayment record, which is normally over the past 12 months

Joint borrowers

There are times when home loans have joint borrower’s i.e two people apply for the same loan like husband and wife. In such a case the lenders will assess the above criteria for both the borrower’s and weight will be given to the annual gross income of each of the borrower.

Alternative loan market

In the last couple of years, new players have entered the Australian lending market and are offering home loans to borrowers who have not qualified for any of the standard home loans. These lenders form what is called the alternative market or even the sub-prime lending market. Due to the sub-prime lending market, borrowers now have plenty of choices and above all borrowers with bad credit history can also apply for and get home loans.

Low docs

Another interesting type of home loan in Australia’s non-conforming loan market is the low-doc loan. This loan is normally offered to only self-employed people and those who are unwilling or unable to furnish complete documentation or details of their income. There has been an explosion of low-doc loans in Australia since 2003. These loans are available with non-conforming lenders as well as some of the mainstream lenders and this has considerably increased the type of loans available. Some of the other categories of loans being offered by the non-conforming market consist of loans that have been specifically targeted at retired borrowers in Australia as well as non-residents.
mint tin favors

SEO has become the key of success of any website in today’s world, but still there are people who ignore the SEO part of their website and try to either find some cheaper ways to optimize their website or self optimize their website without having knowledge of SEO. At Himshilp we do a thorough study of our client’s website and its competitor’s website and then perform research to find the title, description, keywords, H1 tags and content in the respective client’s site.

I want to list 10 golden rules which could be followed, in order to avoid common SEO mistakes to optimize the websites:

Avoid badly framed website title:

Website title plays an important role in determining the rank of a page by search engines. If your website has irrelevant title, then your webpage will be given less relevance by search engine. After scanning your page the search engine matches your content with the title and keywords of your page, so it is very important to take care of few things while designing the title.

1. One should never use a keyword more than once in the title.

2. Title tag should be framed with 10 – 60 characters, without any special characters.

3. Always place the important keywords in the title obeying the rule of leftward i.e. the

First word is best, second is second best, etc.

4. The title should always relate to the content of the webpage, its meta description and

meta keywords and should be legible by the user.

5. There should be distinct title and description of each page.

Don’t use duplicate/ insufficient content of the page:

Never design duplicate or bad content for your webpage. Insufficient or Duplicate content will not be tolerated by search engines, even your websites can be banned. Content is known as the king of the web. So always write a content which is unique, friendly. Then people would like to link to you. You can even hire people who write decent unique content by paying them some amount.

Check all your backlinks (Poor backlinks/ less backlinks are harmful):

The quantity of backlinks/ incoming links of a website represent its popularity. The number of backlinks replicates the number of votes caste for a particular website or a web page. Google consider backlinks as a very important factor to determine page rank. Don’t link to the websites which are not relevant to your website as it will not benefit you. Always link to a high page-rank website. Google doesn’t support link-exchange, so better not adopt it. One way quality backlinks are always better for SEO. There are various ways to increase the backlinks. The submission to Directories & Search Engine Submission is the easiest yet powerful and result oriented activity. Creating interesting blogs and articles are also very helpful to get quality backlinks to your website. The social networking profiles can also be used to bring backlinks to your website.

Check all your internal links:

Broken internal links create negative impact on SEO. Always validate all your internal links so that there are no broken links in your website. Using similar anchor text in all the links is also not advised. Anchor text is the text which is the visible part of a hyperlink, never use the same anchor text in all your links like click here or some thing which is irrelevant to that link. Anchor text link should contain keywords. Use hyphenated filenames, but not long ones – two or three hyphens only. And try to use keywords in the urls also.

Use header tags in the content appropriately:

One of the POSITIVE ON-Page SEO Factors is the usage of keyword in H1, H2 and H3 tags. We should use these tags in order to get the page optimized. But the problem with these tags is that they don’t look nice as such in the web browsers for h1, h2 tags are too large and h5, h6 are too small. So overall appearance of the webpage gets distorted. That’s why generally people ignore them. But with the advent of style sheets it has become very easy for the programmers to change the hierarchy of the tags, so that one can view them in the browser with the appropriate size. Also one should never use H1 tag more than once in a page.

Use keywords properly:

Keywords are wonderful weapon of your websites so never ignore them whether it is keywords in meta tag, url, meta description.

meta keywords: Never use common meta keywords in all the webpages of your website. It will be screened as
duplicate content filter checks by the SE. The common rule for Keyword in keyword meta tag is to use less than 10 words. Every word in this tag MUST appear somewhere in the body text. If not, it can be punished for irrelevance. No single word should appear more than twice. If not, it may be considered as spamming.

Keyword in URL: Often people ignore the proper usage keywords in url, and it is stuffed with irrelevant words.
Always use appropriate description of the page content in the url assuming this hierarchy First word is the best, second is the second best, etc.

Keyword in description meta tag: Do not put similar descriptions for all the pages. It should be unique for all the pages and relevant to the page content. Ideally it should contain less than 200 chars.

High Keyword density in body text: Ideally keyword density should be 5- 20% – (all keywords/ total words). Individual keyword density should be 1 – 6% – (each keyword/ total words). But if you are thinking that using keyword everywhere will make the page more relevant then its wrong assumption. Do not stuff keywords unreasonably everywhere.

Make proper XML sitemap of the website:

Sitemaps helps you communicate with the SE. Website gets indexed in various search engines by XML sitemap. So always update your sitemap so that your webpages get indexed easily in the search engines.

Use < img> tag properly:

Most of the times the images are overlooked in SEO. Long and meaningless names of the images convey nothing to the search engine, try to incorporate some keywords in the image name so that the search engine will list them. Use alt tag to describe the images. ALT tags should contain a description of what the image is. It is a labeling device to translate your image into text for search engines. It also translates your image into a textual reference for users with visual handicaps. So use < img> tag carefully.

Don’t use too much of javascript where it is not required:

Use as much as clean HTML code instead of javascript code as the search engine could not translate java script.

Have patience:

There is no shortcut to get listed in top 10 for the selected keywords. It takes time for a page to get indexed in Google. So have patience and be vigilant. Publish unique quality content, by validating it and reinsure that it gets indexed properly in the search engine, this is an ongoing process, so keep changing the content of the website since if you will optimize your website for once and take a backseat then you can be out of index.

Finally be cautious of those internet marketing firms who give you 100% assurance in getting the pages indexed. Even Google says that there is no rule to get the 100% optimization and the rules to optimize the webpage are keeps on changing so be vigilant and take the appropriate step.
pirate party planning

1. Optimise every page on your website

The major search engines are not looking at individual websites and ranking them, they are ranking pages from every website in the world. This means that if your website contains more than one page you should optimise for the specific content that is found on each page.

Optimising each webpage is overlooked by so many websites and this can be the difference between competing for a highly competitive keyword phrase such as “Irish Hotels” and competing for a much less competitive keyword phrase such as “Hotels in County Offaly ”. After that they can check out the rest of your website that is all about “Irish Hotels”.

2. Pick appropriate keyword phrases

This is the single most important thing to do when it comes to optimising your website for search engines. The keywords that your potential customers type into Google, Yahoo, MSN, and Ask Jeeves are the keywords that your site should be using within the specific areas of your webpage (see below; Optimising your Page Titles and Optimising your Content). There are a number of useful keyword research tools available on the web. The most recommended and user-friendly are Wordtracker and Keyword Discovery. Both offer trial versions.

3. Optimising your Page Titles

All of the major search engines have 100’s of different algorithms that compute where your webpage should be listed for different keyword searches. Putting your keywords within the Title description (the blue bar you will see at the top of your screen) of your pages is one of the most important SEO techniques and will help your website climb through the rankings and allow your visitors to remember exactly what your page is all about when they save it to their “favourites”.

4. Optimising your Page Content

It is sometimes very difficult to write content for your website. Not only do you need put the information that you want the visitor to see in front of them in an easy-to-read style, you also have to keep in mind the keywords or keyphrases that your page is targeting so that you can rank better within search engines.

One of the best pieces of advice that I have come across is to write for your visitors and include the keywords and keyphrases as much as makes sense. Read what you written out loud to yourself and a few others. If it sounds stupid… lather, rinse, and repeat.

5. Create an inbound linking strategy

Submitting your site to online directories is a very beneficial way to drive targeted traffic to your website. People will find your listing in a directory and click on the link to go directly to your site.

This not only brings visitors to your website, but it also creates links for search engine “spiders” or “robots” to find your website and index your pages within their results. If your site doesn’t have a link pointing to it on the World Wide Web the search engines will never find it and you will never see any traffic from Google or the other big ones.

6. Descriptively labeling your links and images (aka the anchor text)

This technique is both common sense and good practice. Telling your visitors what the link that they are going to click on allows them to know exactly what they are going to be directed to. Saying “click here” is not enough to help them understand what they’re going to find once they click through. Be as descriptive as possible with every text and graphical link on your site. The cool thing about writing your anchor text and alt attributes to be descriptive is that you can almost always describe the page you’re pointing to by using its main keyword phrase which is another one of those many factors search engines that into account when it comes to ranking your web pages.

7. Make sure your site is spider-friendly

Your website may look fantastic. You and your web designer may be talented graphic designers that can make Flash and Javascript dazzle your visitors with a show that would put RiverDance to shame. However, if your website contains Flash and Javascript it’s important to know that search engine spiders can’t read this code (or appreciate the effort you put into the design). The way around this is to provide navigation alternatives to allow the spiders crawl deep within your website and index the web pages within their results.

8. Create Fresh Content

When you are optimizing your website properly you will see a trend. If you are doing something that benefits your websites visitors then the search engines will reward you for it.

Search engines do tend to like websites that create fresh content regardless of the format. If they know any given site is adding new articles on a frequent basis, they will come around often to index it.

Blogs and forums are effective and easy ways of adding new information to your site on a regular basis.

However, if your only purpose of setting up a blog or a forum is for better search engine rankings then there really is no point in doing it. Only add a forum if it contributes something beneficial to your website and if you have the traffic to make it interactive enough for visitors to return to it. And, only add a blog if you have something of interest to say on a regular basis.

9. Do not think that you can trick Search Engines

As noted before, “ If you are doing something that benefits your websites visitors then the search engines will reward you for it”.

If you try to trick the search engines by hiding keyword phrases in your pages by making the text colour the same as the background colour, hiding keyword phrases in tiny font, joining link farms, or any other sneaky practice your sites will be removed from the search engines and it will take you a long time to get back in (and you will also have to spend more time cleaning up your website before they will accept you).

10. Offer something unique

If your website offers something that is unique and interesting to your target market and it is properly optimized (by applying all of the techniques that are listed above) you will not only rank well within the major search engines, you will also get the added benefit of people linking to your website in forums, blogs, and through other websites which will send your site more visitors and create more inbound links which will help it rank higher.
sell excess wedding stuff

Why is backlinking important, what is page rank and link juice

In this article I will focus on Google as the Search Engine, it has the highest percentage of use over the other Search Engines but the others worth bearing in mind.

The key point to remember is that Google has its users in the forefront of its mind. Its algorithms are in place to ensure that when a user types in a search term, the pages that it displays offer the user the best selection from the internet relevant to the search term.

Google wants to display relevant sites of authority, trusted sources and ones that have highly applicable content. Therefore if someone types in -grey wellington boots Google will display in order of preference sites that have content with the term -grey wellington boots if there is a lot of sites with the term then the results will be rated in terms of:

Authority – how many other websites are linking (oneway links) to the site, the higher the page rank of those sites, the trusted/authority i.e. .gov increases the page authority (see below for Page Rank PR) the content on the site. Whether the site is about Grey wellington boots, whether the page contains a lot of information connecting to Grey wellington boots, i.e the H1 Tag, the title, the content and links in and off to that page and site are calculated.

All with a view to give the search user the highest relevancy to their search term.

Now these are not the only points taken into consideration but I wanted to illustrate that good content is highly relevant and should be used as an SEO tool.

PageRank is only one of many methods that Google uses to determine a pages authority or relevance, but it is an important one.

PageRanks (PR) viewable bar ranges form 0 to 10, 10 being the highest and 0 being the lowest and likely a new domain and no links. However PageRank values doesnt range from 0 to 10 it is a floating-point number with each Page Rank level becoming progressively harder to reach and is believed to be calculated on a logarithmic scale. Google calculates page PRs constantly, but we only see the update once every few months (Google Toolbar). So there can seem to be a delay.

How does it work?

Google interprets a link from Site X to Site Y as a vote, by page A, for page B.

Google looks at the volume of votes/links but also 100s of other aspects relating to the page that casts the vote. But these aspects do not count when Google calculates the PageRank.

The relevant and quality of the incoming links are important factors, such as link text and the Page Rank/ authority of the site/page that has case the vote.

All links vary when it comes to PR which depends on many aspects such as the PR of the page, how many links are passing away from the site diluting the PR sent to the linked page. If you had a web page with a PR8 and had 1 link on it, the site linked to would get a fair amount of PR value. But, if you had 100 links on that page, each individual link would only get a fraction of the value. Ranking popularity considers site age, backlink relevancy and backlink duration. PageRank doesnt. Content is not taken into account when PageRank is calculated but it is important when ranking for keywords and within the Search Engine Results. PageRank does not rank web sites as a whole, but for each page individually therefore each page has a different page rank. Each inbound link is important to the overall total. Except banned sites, which do not count.
vistaprint coupon codes
